Lauren Parker

President, Dallas

Lauren Parker brings over fourteen years of diversified communications experience to her role as President of Lou Hammond Group Dallas. Spending the first decade of her career in New York City, Lauren began as an Accessories Assistant at VOGUE before transitioning into public relations. Working at both industry-leading, boutique public relations firms and two of the “big four” media agencies, she has supported luxury clients in travel, hospitality, fashion, dining, the arts, financial services, and automotive.

A versatile strategic thinker, Lauren works collaboratively to create an integrated mar-comms approach to a client’s earned strategy. As a result, she has developed unique collaborations, supported larger experiential partnerships, assisted with paid opportunities, and maintained brand ambassador relations all while generating top-tier traditional earned coverage. This approach has resulted in success for her clients like breakthrough coverage on the cover of Wall Street Journal’s business sections, a thirty percent increase in impressions year-over-year, or four campaigns reaching the finalist of the Platinum PR Awards.

As part of crafting strategies for iconic brands, Lauren has successfully executed over one hundred events across the globe and over fifty runway shows during NYFW, LFW, PFW, and Miami Swim Week. From opening a restaurant in Aspen to leading a week-long press trip through Monte Carlo, Nice, and Girona, Lauren has taken her clients – and journalists – to destinations near and far.

After studying English at Vanderbilt University, Lauren returned to her native New York City. She has since relocated to Dallas with her husband Austin and their two dogs, Noodle and Beansprout. She and her husband travel often, whether to their home in San Juan, Puerto Rico or the next destination on their list. Wherever she is, Lauren enjoys reading, cooking, and riding horses.

A lifelong philanthropist, Lauren also spends her time supporting several non-profit organizations and was selected as an Emerging Leader in Philanthropy by the Communities Foundation of Texas. A member of the Junior League of Dallas’ Leadership Council, she was chosen to participate in the prestigious T. Boone Pickens Leadership Institute.
