Jessica Derrick, EVP Brand Development

Jessica Derrick joined the Lou Hammond Group in 2018 to spearhead branding, marketing and creative services throughout the agency.  She brings expertise to clients on brand development, retail innovation, audience development, experiential marketing and promotional strategy.  With over two decades in media, Jessica was previously the Senior Vice President at Garden & Gun Magazine where she spent 10 years overseeing all brand extensions. 

Prior to that, she had a 10-year career in NYC with Condé Nast and Meredith Corporation working on such titles as House & GardenVanity Fair, Country Home, and Traditional Home.  She brings an award-winning track record for branding, marketing and promotions.

Jessica is most passionate about big vision, enjoys working with creative teams and has an entrepreneurial spirit.  She serves on several boards including local and national businesses ranging from the arts and education to sporting and sustainability.  

Jessica grew up in the South, graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College where she majored in Economics with a concentration in French.  She has lived and traveled around the globe.  Jessica, her husband Butler and their young girls enjoy cooking, living near the beach and travel.
